3D Printed Saxophone Mouthpieces

We have recently started production of 3D printed saxophone mouthpieces! Some examples are shown in the photos below.

There is a wide range of Saxophone mouthpieces on the market today. Many are similar to the classic designs of the 1950’s and 1960’s, while others produce a brighter more powerful tone.

Each musician needs to choose the mouthpiece that is best suited to the style of music that they create. What most musicians want is something that gives flexibility and little need for adjustment to the embouchure.

3D printing technology allows us to create many different types of mouthpiece, as there are already numerous 3D files available on the market.

Since modern saxophones have greater projection, a hybrid mouthpiece featuring a medium to large chamber would be ideal. Such a bespoke item is certainly an option; we just need a 3D design file of your choice. We may be able to tweak your design to get exactly the sound that you’re after.
